In our kitchen studio or in your home, we will teach you to prepare each of the dishes in the class.
You may have an interactive class or just watch. Either way, you will get to enjoy the foods that are being prepared as well as enjoy beverages that are appropriate to the class. Each participant will receive a recipe packet, so that the learning can continue at home!

Dine and Learn Classes

Fish 101
By special request, this class is for anyone who wants to explore new ways to cook fish. We will be working with Monkfish (also known as the poor man's lobster), Red Snapper, Cod, Swordfish,  Ahi Tuna, and Mahi Mahi. Each preparation will be to enhance the flavor and texture of the fish, yet still simple to prepare. Grilled Mahi Mahi with Avocado Melon Salsa, Cedar Planked Monkfish, Cod Fillet with Vegetable Ragout are to mention a few of the recipes you will learn. We will discuss pairing wines with fish, and sample a few of our favorites! ($50.00 per participant)

On a Roll - Sushi for Beginners
Whether you like it raw, rolled or seafood-free, we have recipes that will the sushi skeptics and sushi lovers alike!. It doesn't have to be about raw fish - we will be making Tempura Shrimp Handrolls with Wasabi Oil, then onto a Grilled Portabello and Roasted Red Pepper Maki Roll, Vegetarian Handroll, and a Spinch and Shiitake Uramaki Roll. And dessert? Chocolate Sushi Roll with Tropical Fruit. Each participant will receive a Beginning Sushi Basket filled with for making sushi at home! ($60.00 per participant)

Stews and Chowders
Winter is here, and nothing tastes better or is more comforting than a steaming bowl of hearty stew or chowder. Easy to make, we will start this class with a Hearty Veal Stew with Red Wine and Sweet Peppers, a vegetarian offering of Curried Red Lentil and Swiss Chard Stew with Garbanzo Beans, then onto a Mahogony Beef Stew.  Next we will work some magic with some great chowders, such as a San Francisco Crab "Meatball' Chowder and a Corn Chowder with Jalapenos and Parsley Puree. Come hungry to this one! We will explore hearty wines suitable for winter with this class. ($50.00 per participant)

Fresh Baked Breads 
Who doesn't love the smell of bread baking in the oven? Do you think it takes so long to make Bread?  This class will teach you how to make yeast breads, quick breads, sweet breads - all in three hours! Begin with Blueberry Streusel Muffins, Refrigerator Cinnamon Rolls, Tomato and Caramelized Onion Focaccia Bread, Savory Herb Rolls, and Italian Bread. ($50.00 per participant)


Chocolate All The Time - Part 2
It is not just for dessert anymore! We will explore the use of chocolate in different cultures, and the different types of chocolate available to the consumer. Then we will taste the different ways chocolate enhances dishes, such as Winter Greens with Hazelnuts, Reggiano, and Shaved Chocolate. Then onto  Chicken Breast in Chocolate Sauce and Cocoa Rubbed Pork Tenderloin with Mole Sauce. Of course, dessert…rich and creamy Chocolate Pots de Crème…($50.00 per participant)

Thinfully Delicious Dining
Did you overindulge during the holidays? No worries! We will turn your kitchen into a spa with our absolutely sinless, flavor-packed meal.  Zucchini Pappardelle with Roasted Tomato Vinaigrette, Arugula and Feta Cheese,   Artichoke Salad with Warmed Herb Dressing, Skirt Steak "Saltimbocca", and Zinful Poached Pears with Cardamom Yogurt. You wont feel guilty at all! ($50.00 per participant)
